The dog days of summer are here. School is starting back up soon. Labor Day barbecue invites are piling up. It’s time to buckle down and get ready for fall. Or is it?

MySecretBoston / Rumble On The River present Ghosts of Jupiter at Brighton Music Hall next Friday night, 9/7! We’ve got our friends Dana Colley, Jerome Deupree and Jeremy Lyons, aka ‘Members of Morphine’ for support, it’s gonna be a great night.

Tickets are only $13 in advance, they’ll be $15 at the door. If you don’t have your tickets already, buy them now.

Want a sample? Listen to “Running Down” for a taste of what Ghosts of Jupiter sound like with Dana Colley guesting on saxophone at the recent Tweed River Music Festival gig (thanks to Corey for the recording via Archive.org).

We’re especially thrilled on this Monday to tell you that Ghosts of Jupiter are featured in Paul Robicheau’s “Take The Stage” piece in the current issue of The Improper Bostonian.

You can read the complete feature article here, which lists ten of Boston’s hottest acts.

Ghosts of Jupiter come in at #2 behind this issue’s cover girl Shea Rose and we’re very pleased to round out a list that also includes Debo Band, Quilt, Darlingside, Moufy, Sherman Burns, Air Traffic Controller, Coyote Kolb, and Jaggery.

Anne Mostue at WGBH got a sneak peek at Ghosts of Jupiter: Music Experience and took to the WGBH airwaves to spread the word that music entertainment shows have returned to Museum of Science Boston’s Charles Hayden Planetarium.

The piece features sound bytes from Planetarium Director David Rabkin and GOJ’s own, Johnny Trama. The three minute segment aired TWICE today on WGBH 89.7 FM; first during the morning drive, and again in the evening drive during All Things Considered.
